Nate’s family, along with all of us here at TVF&R, thank you for the love and support you have shown us in griveing the loss of Firefighter Nate Turner. A memorial and celebration of life is being held for family and friends. Monday, August 1st, at 2 pm Western Mennonite School (gymnasium) 9045 Wallace Rd NW, [...] Late Sunday, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue officials received word that one of our firefighters, Nate Turner, died as a result of injuries sustained in a climbing accident on Beacon Rock in Washington. Nate, hired by TVF&R in September 2007, was a Firefighter/Paramedic at the downtown Beaverton fire station – one of TVF&R’s busiest units. [...]
Members of the West Linn Garden Club have re-dedicated five “Firefighter” rose bushes at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s newly constructed Bolton fire station in West Linn. The flowers had been planted at the former fire station next door, but this summer landscapers moved the flowers to the new location. A Nissan Armada slammed into the Boone’s Junction Pizza and Pub in Wilsonville Tuesday morning. Firefighters from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue’s Station 52 and Station 56 extricated the female driver from the vehicle and she was transported by Metro West Ambulance to a local hospital.
