Tualatin Valley firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a house at 7770 SW Garden Home Road in Tigard. Firefighters responded to a 9-1-1 call just after 11:30 p.m. The first crew arrived minutes later to find smoke coming from the rear of the house.
Firefighters attacked the flames inside the house and stopped the fire’s spread within minutes. Firefighters did not find anyone inside the home.
Upon further investigation, it appears the house is vacant. No-one was injured during the fire. Nearly 30 TVF&R personnel responded to the scene.
A TVF&R investigator is working to determine the cause of the fire.
